What is behind the tile

A tile shower is a waterproofing job with tile on top. Done on the wrong substrate or without a proper pan, it fails from behind and you will not see it until the ceiling below does.

Ventilation

An undersized or unducted fan puts the moisture into the structure instead of outside. It is the cheapest line in the job and the one that most often gets skipped.

Moving water

Relocating a toilet or shower means moving drain lines, which depends entirely on your joists and your slab. We check before promising a layout.

How long is a bathroom out of use?

A full remodel is usually a few weeks. We give you the schedule with the estimate, and we tell you which days the water is off.

Can you do a smaller refresh?

Yes. Vanity, fixtures, lighting and paint without opening walls is a real option and we will say so if that is what your bathroom actually needs.

Do you charge for an estimate?

No. Estimates are free on every job. If you want a rough number before anyone drives out, send photos and a description and we can usually get close on the phone.

What areas do you build in?

Fort Wayne and the surrounding Allen County area, including New Haven and Huntington. If you are outside that, call (260) 602-0054 and ask rather than assume.

Are you licensed, insured and bonded?

We are insured and bonded, and we are a family-owned company based on Keystone Drive in Fort Wayne. Proof of insurance goes out before work starts if you want it, and permits and inspections are ours to handle.

How do you handle changes once work has started?

In writing, before we carry on. You get the cost of the change and you approve it. Nothing gets added quietly and presented at the end.

I went through 2 other local contractors before finding Mike Bertoli at BGC Management. The other two never showed up to do the jobs and never called to explain why. They wouldn't return my calls to them after waiting all summer. It was quite frustrating! I went through Home Advisors and Mike called me and made an appointment to come and see the roofing, siding, soffits, and gutter projects that I had. He called me when he was going to be 10 minutes late. How refreshing! He listened to what I needed done, and had an estimate the next day. He is very personable, and had great attention to detail. The cost was extremely fair. He had a crew to do my metal roof exactly when he said he would, and the same with the siding crew that also did my soffits and gutters. He kept in contact along the way. My house is absolutely beautiful . This company deserves to have a 5 star rating. They keep their word and do quality work at a very fair price.
