Post-frame is flexible right up until the posts are in the ground.
Clear span and door height
What you park in it sets the width and the door height, and the door height sets the wall height. Measure the tallest thing before anything else.
Concrete or dirt floor
A dirt floor is cheaper now and much harder to add later. Decide before the posts go in, because the detail at the base of the post differs.
Insulation and use
A cold storage barn and a heated workshop are built differently. Saying which you want up front costs nothing; changing your mind afterwards costs a lot.

How big can you go without interior posts?
Post-frame clear spans comfortably at widths that would need steel in other systems. Tell us the width you want and we will tell you what it takes.
Can a pole barn be finished inside as a shop?
Yes, and plenty of ours are. Insulation, a vapour barrier, lining, heat and power all plan in better before the frame goes up.
Do you charge for an estimate?
No. Estimates are free on every job. If you want a rough number before anyone drives out, send photos and a description and we can usually get close on the phone.
What areas do you build in?
Fort Wayne and the surrounding Allen County area, including New Haven and Huntington. If you are outside that, call (260) 602-0054 and ask rather than assume.
Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
We are insured and bonded, and we are a family-owned company based on Keystone Drive in Fort Wayne. Proof of insurance goes out before work starts if you want it, and permits and inspections are ours to handle.
How do you handle changes once work has started?
In writing, before we carry on. You get the cost of the change and you approve it. Nothing gets added quietly and presented at the end.
